Near Gibson Dam, the black bears are out, eating their fill of chokecherries, trying to fatten themselves up for winter. This youngster found a nice recliner chair and sat down for a snack!
This photograph is memorable to me, because it’s so difficult to capture wildlife in the wild, performing their ordinary routines.
Gibson Dam is west of Augusta, Montana.
Photo was taken with a Nikon D300, Tamron 70-300 mm lens.
