Finally the set together. This is my first attempt at a triptych poster, so please let me know what works and what doesn’t.

If you prefer the individual pieces, you can find them here

The idea was originally inspired by some of the motion blur techniques showcased by Vikram Franklin, Peter Hill and Kitsmumma, but hopefully sufficiently different to be individual!

My grandfather was a serious amateur photographer in the ’20s and ’30s, leaving me a legacy of stereoscopic pictures and equipment. The bug passed through the genes to my father and to me. I started taking pictures seriously when I was 11 and I spent most of my teenage years in and out of the darkroom. University, work and kids put photography on pause but my first digital camera in 2006 re-kindled my interest. RB has given me a vehicle for sharing my work and for learning so much.

Nice idea, I will have a go at some triptychs as well. I also like the thumbnails that you have created that show the work as a framed image and prints. The links that you have created to take you to the buy/purchase page are broken though. Regards, Rupert.

  • Thanks Rupert, I’ve just tried the links and they seem to be working fine. Pleas bmail me with details on what it does when you click on the thumbnails.

    Dear monocotylidono,
I have created step-by-step details of how used your example to add the thumbnails of the framded & mounted prints to my Easter Dragons image.

  • Thanks Rupert, that works well. You can find a lot of tutorials on these and other ways of linking pictures here George

Hues! And fast-moving ones, too, George! I don’t feel a bit queasy (I think Vikram mentioned a carousel on one), and the hues are so vivid and appealing. Nice work!

  • Thank you Jan, I’m glad it doesn’t affect your sense of balance :-D Glad you like it.
