Using the new Technology as Art challenge as an inspiration, I shot a little mini-series of techno-macros.
They have all been taken with my Sony a350 and Sigma 105mm macro (mostly at its widest), using natural diffused daylight.

My grandfather was a serious amateur photographer in the ’20s and ’30s, leaving me a legacy of stereoscopic pictures and equipment. The bug passed through the genes to my father and to me. I started taking pictures seriously when I was 11 and I spent most of my teenage years in and out of the darkroom. University, work and kids put photography on pause but my first digital camera in 2006 re-kindled my interest. RB has given me a vehicle for sharing my work and for learning so much.

By looking twice! ;-) Things can look very different through a lens. Try it! xxx

I like this series very much! Inspirational – I just threw an old modem card in the bin and I feel like fishing it out again, even if it has been festering in the communal dumpster for a week!
Hey Paul – I assume you won’t see this as you are away, but thanks for your comments. I wouldn’t pick up that particular modem, but I’m sure that there are plenty other electronic gadgets in the house that you can have a go at… :-)

A very nice use of line and colour. Does this qualify for Bokeh or not? What ever it is a great DOF. I love the whole series.
Thank you my friend! I don’t think there is Bokeh, because there are no ligot spots to create it. Just blur… loads of it :-)
