On my own now!

The baby robins are flying around now!

This baby robin is now about 10-12 days old. An amazing transformation in such as short time, especially if you consider that they can’t eat or drink on their own yet and all six of them have grown to this size purely by mum & dad feeding them. I have seen them flying around and hiding inside the garden shed now, but I have not seen them venture outside yet…

(For those that haven’t followed the story, this is a set of robins that have hatched in our garden shed, in Milton Keynes, UK. This shot is actually in the shed.)
In this series…

[Sony a350, Sigma 105mm, 3600D flash, f:6.3, 1/125, ISO-400)

Thanks mate, watching birds (as well as photographing them), is a completely new area for me so I’m learning as I go. And it’s so much better than twittering! ;-)
