I guess the threat of thunderstorms this morning made me think about rain, so I figured this bunch of roses taken right after a fairly heavy rainfall in the garden at Mill Creek Park in Youngstown, Ohio (USA), would be perfect.

And perfect it is! This is a real beauty, Monnie!
Thank you, Nadya! The tornado warning was just to the north of us, thank goodness, but we’re still likely to get a few thunderstorms before morning.

Excellent detail…beautiful work.
Beautiful roses and capture Monnie …… are you getting any rain yet?
Thanks! Yesterday afternoon the thunderstorms started (plus a tornado warning just to the north of us), so we got a good drenching. Goodness knows we needed it, but I’m afraid other parts of the country that need it more got passed over once again.
" For me Monnie ?". Beautiful image of beautiful, fresh roses. You are 100% correct when you said they would be perfect, they are. Cheers, Tony.
Thanks once again, my friend – and consider them yours! ;-D
Great news! Thanks so much!
Beautiful work. Congratulations
Whee – thanks SO much!!
