Fourth of July, Long May They Fly by Monnie Ryan

Fourth of July, Long May They Fly by

At one of our visits to the Kittery Trading Post in Kittery, Maine, we found an outdoor exhibit of large birds of prey. I’m sure they did it for the benefit of all the camera-toting tourists like me, but they put the eagle right in front of an American flag. And hey, I was happy to take advantage of the situation!

I’m a semi-retired newspaper editor/writer who loves photography, especially flower macros, lighthouses, old mills and covered bridges.

Lucky you…you didn’t have to merge two images! I still have trouble with that. A lovely image for Independence Day!

  • Thanks! And good thing about the merging thing – I have absolutely no idea how to do that! :-(
