Now that fall has come and almost gone so quickly, I’m so glad we managed to get to our beloved Mill Creek Park in Youngstown, Ohio, this summer several times when the flowers were in bloom. The hibiscus were especially gorgeous this year – both the pinks and whites seemed unusually large. Always fun to photograph!

I’m a semi-retired newspaper editor/writer who loves photography, especially flower macros, lighthouses, old mills and covered bridges.
