The historic Whalehead Club is the colorful centerpiece of the 39-acre Currituck Heritage Park complex in Corolla, North Carolina (USA). The 21,000-square-foot home, now open for tours, was built between 1922 and 1925 by industrialist Edward Collings Knight and his bride. Over the years, the property changed hands and attempts were made to develop it as a private residential community. Those efforts for the most part fell through, and the property fell into disrepair. In 1992, Currituck County purchased the property, and today, the home and complex are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
