The Ward-Thomas Museum, built in 1862, has been the private residence of two Niles, Ohio (USA), industrial families. Today, it is a 14-room museum and the home of the Niles Historical Society. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and, happily for me, is located across the street (and a few doors down) from our house.

I’m a semi-retired newspaper editor/writer who loves photography, especially flower macros, lighthouses, old mills and covered bridges.

Lovely light, comp and detail Monnie ~ are you allowed to photograph inside?

  • Thanks, Susie! It’s open the 1st Sunday of each month (plus special events), and yes, photos are allowed. The lighting is, shall we say, WAY less than perfect, though.
