The first time I saw a “peanut” pumpkin was at White House Fruit Farm near Canfield, Ohio, a couple of years ago. At the time, I wasn’t sure whether I loved them or thought they were totally creepy. Now it’s this year, and I still haven’t decided!

I’m a semi-retired newspaper editor/writer who loves photography, especially flower macros, lighthouses, old mills and covered bridges.
