For Whom the Bells Toll by Monnie Ryan

Currently unavailable for purchase

On a recent visit to Mill Creek Park in Youngstown, Ohio, I found a new-to-me flower called Canterbury Bells. They resemble trumpet-creepers and foxglove, only larger. From what I could tell, when they age the outer petals spread out – like this one taken from the back.
