Finally – both the “regular” and star magnolia trees are in bloom at Mill Creek Park in Youngstown, Ohio! It’s still pretty chilly, but lots of rain and sunshine have coaxed tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and magnolia trees out of their winter shells. This was taken in Fellows Riverside Gardens near the visitor center and includes the beautiful Victorian gazebo. Mill Creek Park is one of the largest municipally owned parks in the United States.

I’m a semi-retired newspaper editor/writer who loves photography, especially flower macros, lighthouses, old mills and covered bridges.

this is perfect Monnie, would love to sit there and take in the beauty of it all xx

  • Thanks, Lynn! So would I, but not today – the sun was out off and on, but it was barely above 40 degrees and very, very windy!
