I remember doing my first drawing at four years old and getting very excited. that excitement has never left me. All throughout school I was drawing pictures on the margin instead of paying attention. As an adult, I tried to get a “real job” but all I wanted to do was paint pictures on the wall or draw in my notebook.
I started writing and illustrating children’s books for my daughters when they were small. When they were four, I helped them create their own picture books. They are now teenagers creating beautiful art themselves.
I am now “all grown up” but I’m still drawing on the margins and painting pictures on the wall. Some of my children’s books have been published by a Brisbane educational company, and the others? Soon to be published by a real publisher so I can finally say I have a real job..
