Pen and ink
This work inspires me to think.
I’m not sure of your intent, Monica, but it seems to make me feel peaceful – perhaps it’s because blue is my favourite colour and the deeper (not darker) the blue, the more at peace I tend to feel. That’s the air sign/water bearer coming out in me perhaps. The objects hanging in the sky (popping/dropping?) are like ‘potential’. Are they sustaining rain, or ideas, or new life – I don’t see a converse side, or that they are in any way threatening. They are like lights or leaves or rain, each one containing a different signature.
Sorry, I do prattle. Like I said – it’s sending my mind on a journey.
I like this. I like the character, the colours you have chosen and the little things that remind me of christman decor! Very well done!
