On this day I arrived way too early for the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge to open, so I had to kill some time. I wound up at this public park on the edge of the water dedicated to the astronauts who lost their lives in search of the dream of space travel. This picture taken in Titusville, Florida on a beautiful cool morning just before sunrise.

it may have been time to kill, but you have been working on this type of shot for some time now and have perfected it my friend. i love the kiss of morning light on the wood and the fact that the end of the pier is not lost to the horizon. beautiful shot.

  • thanks J.K. You’ve got my M.O . down pat…lol
