The Ripper Has Wings
I started the day on a mission to capture a Hawk in flight. 1st run in, led me into a vacant lot where this Hawk, a beautiful mature one, leaped into the air screaming after almost getting close enough for a decent shot. Next stop, Titusville, Merritt Island. This time there were Hawks everywhere on the wires and each time I grew close, crept out of my car, they would leap towards the ground spoiling my capture. I moved down the road again, but this time the Hawk was busy snuggling up to a mate and was unconcerned about my presence. I waited until finally “shem”, he or she, lept into the air and I caught this capture of shem leaving. But I have to say I felt guilty later feeling like a paparazzi following Brittney Spears around, doggy her to death for a snapshot. Later that day I saw a Hawk snatch a pigeon from a tree and tear him apart and that sure did ease my conscience about my behavior…. LOL
