A Modicum of Faith

An experiment in high speed shot at appx. 4000 sec F 7.1, e.v. +5 using a flashgun and dropping the WB to 4000 K and this was the result. I am aiming for soft tones later to use with candles and was trying to get the flash thingy working just right…lol

I tried tis once..for hours without a nice result..lol..so I bow to you:))

  • Franklin Lindsey replied

Thanks Jacky. Funny thing is I tried this with yellow dye in the water, but it turned red and looked like, well blood. So I went back to clear water and cleaned kitchen pans….lol

Great job Frank! You DID IT!! When you say ‘flash gun’ do you mean like a timing light for setting the timing on your car engine?

  • Franklin Lindsey replied

Hi Charlie! thanks for dropping by. I like to make that comparison by habit since a timing light looks similiar, although it stays on longer than a flash unit. When you see the flash light up on the target, you know you’ve captured that moment ya going fer!
