Thanks Rikki and your right. Shooting these creatures in flight is difficult because they spend alot time most of the day walking and then return to a spot where they bed down for the night, usually as it grows dark. When the early birds come in, I get lucky and can catch the in flight shot. These were taken right after they landed. Thanks a bunch mate!

Nice Work Frank. I got my first look at these birds last winter. We have around 30,000 of them wintering just south of Tucson at the Whitewater Draw Wildlife Refuge.

Thanks Tom, I guess in Fla. we’re spoiled cause they’re plentiful here, yet I still luv em, especially in flight.
