Very effective, Sher! I love the way the major flower just pops off the page; 3D for sure, waiting to be picked and arranged and admired! Isn’t this kind of art so gratifying? Glad you took the plunge; you’re a natural at this!
Sheryl Kasper replied
Thank you Bonnie, it was sooo much fun trying to work the grunge in with the flower.

Gorgeous! This is another flower that I’ve had trouble with. I’ve got this one plant and it keeps coming back and fighting for it’s life. I have high hopes for it this year. It’s only 2 feet tall but I have faith, LOL!
Sheryl Kasper replied
Thank you Ruth. A heard a Clematis prefers its roots cool and top growth in the sun, so place some mulch over the roots, but don’t mound the material right on top of stems. It will be blooming before you know it. :)
Ruth Palmer
Yes, I’ve got some stones at the bottom of mine Sheryl. That’s what I was instructed to do when I planted it. It seems pretty healthy but it always seems to get attacked by some kind of bug as it starts to bloom. I may need professional help…..for the flowers I mean, LOL! Thank you!
Bonnie T. Barry
