Fantastic capture, it looks like somewhere in the Alps ;)

  • thank you… it’s definitely much higher than Alps, almost twice as much.. :)

Fabulous. I climbed Mt. Kenya in 1983. The border was still closed then so Kilimanjaro was just out of reach but spent a couple of weeks in Amboseli and the same in Tsavo.1985 got me as close as Arusha and Moshi, but still out of reach. My decision was Ngorongoro. !998 and I buggered it again. Too old now but I love your pics. What an experience it must have been :D

  • thanx Neil… Mt. Kenya is about 5,200 m which is pretty high… i’m sure you must’ve had a great time during the climb and specially at the summit… the countryside is beautiful and the locals are warm and kind… overall it was an amazing experiece… i have learned a lot about myself and my level of endurence… don’t worry that you didn’t have the chance to do kilimanjaro.. many people dream to do what you have done and don’t have the opportunity to do it………. glad that you liked the photos…….. :)
