Wow! I sense very powerful sentiment in this piece. “Only the spots of sun and the shadows of leaves are left now to keep company with me..”

Hi Mohsen I love most of your pics but this is my favourite. A lovely haunting work of art produced via a computer camera and your imagination. Which brings us onto the next point that is Moholy Nagy.

I read about Nagy last night. He said a number of things including anything can be used to produce art. It doesn’t matter what it is. A camera or paintbrush or chisel it doesn’t matter its only the tool for the artist. I agree very strongly with that. Nagy used everything and anything to produce his art.

I think he would have loved the modern world with art production becoming available to many more people than prior to computers, modern cameras printers etc.

Now techniques of photography are so much easier than before. Many more people can express themselves. I think the art is better as well because technique is not so important, so the brain and means of production ( the machine ) are closer. Because technique is not so important we can use our imaginations more and more. Very exciting for the future.

For example I just restarted photography six months ago after about a fifteen year break. I have learnt more about photography in the those six months than I did in maybe five years of serious photography about twenty years ago. This is because of modern computers and cameras. Nagy would have loved modern stuff much better tools for the artist

If I don’t stop now my friend it will take a person five minutes to find the bottom of your page.

Mohsen tell me more about what you think about Nagy and his ideas..

    All the best from Andrew
