It’s been a rather slow year on the art front to say the least for me, although I am of course used to winning and selling everything, so I guess its fair to let everyone else have a turn.

Just when I thought everything was going as well as it could…

I find myself on the cover of the Artist’s Magazine Annual Portrait issue.

2 covers in the same month, its all a bit much. I’m not sure if I should do a little dance or go have a lie down.

EDIT: I just realize that was exactly 5 years ago to the day today I did my first ever painting. what a way to celebrate!

So it seems my plans to take over the world are starting to come to fruition at long last. The Intraweb is bringing me news which I shall share with you.

I think…assuming the order of the top 10 in the nude challenge goes from right to left top to bottom I came in 4th. I’m also the only non photographic entry to make the top 10 which I think is a bit of a shame, as there were heaps of good drawings and paintings in the comp :(

I just went and checked out the nude challenge which is now open for voting (as I’m sure you all know).
It’s worth checking out if you haven’t, I thought it was very cool and voted for like 70 people, lots to go through but worth it :D
