This artwork has the distinction of being the only one in my gallery not based on a photo taken by either myself or Karen.
It is in fact based on my crop of a stock photo (stock meaning copyright free, used with full permission of photographer and model , whom I also know) by my friend Marcus—> http://mjranum-stock.deviantart.com/
Originally made for his contest, theme of which “Use my stock” in which I placed in the top finalist 10 (there was no place numbers beyond 3rd) from a pool of over 1400 entries :D hooray!
This image also turned up on the cover of the Artist’s Magazine annual Portrait Issue, April 2009. dances
