We used to run home after school every day to watch Speed Racer on TV, back in the 60’s. Seems like an eternity ago. I saw the movie. Not quite the same thing, but Trixie was still Trixie.

    When you’re 8 years old, she was da bomb. I don’t remember her ever saying that on the cartoon though. All she did was yell…”OOOH SPEEEEEeeeeeed” alot.

    You probably aren’t old enough to remember a cartoon show from the 60’s called “Speed Racer”. It was one of the first imports brought here. Every day we used to run home from school to watch Speed and his girlfriend “Trixie” fight the good fight. They just made a movie about that cartoon, and it prompted me to put Trixie up on a T.

    Cool- I was born in 67 so maybe missed it- I dont think we had it over in the UK- maybe I’m wrong.
