Afternoon Fog Rising
Afternoon undulating fog rising off of the swollen Sugar Creek in Milford, Illinois. The fog seemed to perform a ballet of sorts as it rose and fell and rolled. It seemed to have a life of it’s own. The creek was far out of its banks into the unplanted corn fieldsafter inundating early Spring rains and significant changes in temperature. The geese enjoyed the flood waters. Taken with a Nikon D60. Original in color. Featured in the Fabulous Prairies group 6/2009. Thank you!

This is really nice! I’ve got precious few shots of low-lying fog and none at this level and clarity. Great piece!

Thanks Lenny. This was flood waters from Sugar Creek into a farm field. I watched the fog dance o over 45 minutes. It was a wonderful ballet.
