Parisian Arch
The beauty of shooting in RAW. This image was highly overexposed and there were too many dark tones to deal with. Especially when snapping photos while on vacation. I changed the exposure compensation by a stop in both directions to create 9 separate images. The compensations are -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, +1, +2, +3, +4. I did this to bring out all the bright and dark tones. Photomatix was used for the HDR work, Photoshop to convert to monochrome. Lessons learned; if you shoot in RAW and have an under or over exposed photo, you can salvage it into something rather than deleting it.
