A Gassho Style Barn, Shirakawa Go, Japan. This little village is famous for it’s “Gassho” style houses where the roofs are made in the shape of two hands put together as if in prayer. The roofs are also used for practical purposes like farming silkworms as well as insulating and bearing the weight of the snow in Winter.

We are living in Perth, Western Australia and after buying ourselves a shared DSLR for Xmas 2008 have developed a passion for photography. The addiction has now well and truly taken hold as has the need for one each (at least) of equipment!
In the immortal words of Gary Strang (Men Behaving Badly), “sharing is for people who can’t afford one each.”
