And when the time comes that I must fly
I will not stop nor wonder why.
My wings will spread as I will soar
To search upon that distant shore.
Beyond the winds of fate I’ll sail
To fly into the sun
Nor suffering more
That life I lived…. is done.
And when the times comes that I must fly
Weep not for me,
It will be you that I sorrow
Just remember this:
Your FOREVER is just a tomorrow.
And once I’ve spread my wings in flight
I will find those meadows of peace
And the pathways of comfort
And the shores of grace that I have heard of
And there I will wait for you.
Until it is time that you must fly
And spread your wings
To take you home.
