I found this unusual caterpillar crawling on our lawn. Of course, I wanted to take a photo of it, and to make the photo more artistic, I (carefully!) placed it on a plant with red, variegated leaves.
I had never seen a caterpillar like this before, and have never since. Photo taken in Lutz, Florida.

What a great find – and beautifully captured. Love the composition and colour of this image. I have not seen a caterpillar for years.
