I will see this for myself one of these days!
I have a subliminal yerning drawing me to the high country
I must go there … I believe I will find my home there … I must go look for it …..
Visions like this makes that yerning tug on my heart and draw me to it all the more!
    Thank you! ♥

  • It’s quite a spectacular area. In a few months it’ll probably be covered in snow. We made our first visit there on the weekend. Also enjoyed the intense autumn colours around Bright.

Looks fabulous, superb photo , not into snow, been there done that!

  • Sandra will be teaching in this village during the 2011 snow season. She can’t wait! It’s about 14 km down the road from Mt Hotham.

This is such a beautiful shot Matt, so lovely. I had to keep looking to see it is a photo and not a painting. Absolutely beautifully done.

  • Thanks Anne … wish I had the talent to paint an image like this :-)

i love this spot and have only seen it covered in snow! so thanks for showing us this.

  • Did you drive your car there, Christine? It looks like a nervewracking place to be driving to in the snow, with black ice and sharp turns.

Nice shot Matt and very clear … was it an hdr?

  • One shot, Bruce, with saturation and dodge & burning.

    This is stunning, Matt.

Tell me ………..what is the line of scribbly white stuff, to right and slightly beyond the house?
  • Thanks Freda … the white line is dead trees from major bushfires in the area in 2003. New trees are growing to replace them.
