spring cleaning

It’s the middle of spring here below the equator, so I decided to do a bit of spring cleaning last night. It wasn’t easy, but I streamlined my RB portfolio, deleting about 200 images (and 30,000 views!). I now have a fresh, brightly-coloured portfolio heavily biased towards vector drawings.

sales

Congratulations to Kathryn Potempski, who sold a print of Angus
at last night’s Brunswick Street Gallery’s “Picture This” opening …

Meanwhile, I woke to find that I’d sold a t-shirt of FJ …

Other recent sales … a mounted print of Polkadot Snake …

and a t-shirt of Karin Vectored …

Hoong

I don’t know who you are, hoong, but thanks for taking the time to Favorite 25 of my images ! And welcome to RedBubble !!

Franz Kafka Molekel

I’ve just finished proofreading, illustrating, cover-designing and uploading bubbler iAN Derrick’s latest novel, Franz Kafka Molekel Never Did Die

A flash of lightning, a shuffling of molecules, and life for Franz Kafka Molekel will never be the same. His sudden metamorphosis from a bright young lad into an energetic and clever jack russell terrier brings a neverending series of amazing challenges and adventures into Franz’s life.

published in Weekend Australian

The Weekend Australian colour magazine (published yesterday, 19th July) includes 12 winning photos from their What Matters Most competition, including my shot of Gold Coast community elder Aunty Joyce hugging her grandson. To see all of the finalists, click here and click on the main image to scroll through the slideshow. The slideshow also has some wonderful photos that were commended by the judges but weren’t published.
