Very Nice image Matt,
My first car was also this same model, a 1954 Hudson Super Wasp, Hornet…a very quick car with step down body and the first of the no chasis construction.
Rode low to the ground and Hudsons were the Stock Car race champions for many years in a row…out performing the V8 of the era a the big 6 engine.

Joe, have you seen the animation “Cars”? Yes, it’s a kids’ movie, but the visuals are wonderful, and one of the “stars” is a retired Hudson race car.

Thanks sf! This is one of two cars right beside a well-used road not far from a heavily populated area. I’m surprised they haven’t been bought by a restorer.
