    Beautiful textures Matt.

I love lizards. About 6 years ago I opened my front door one morning and nearly stepped on a blue tongue lizard, lying half-dead on my door mat. She’d been run over by a car or bike…..I could actually see a tread mark across her tail….it was flattened! Poor little thing. I wonder how she knew to come to my door. I bathed her and removed all the grit and wrapped her up in an old towel. I had no idea what I was doing and taking her to a vet was out of the question on what I was living on at the time. Over a period of weeks I kept her inside and nursed her back to health. She ate well….mostly fruit…and became really FAT…..so naturally I called her Thin Lizzy. I released her into my courtyard, where she lived happily for a few months and then I think she must have returned to the vacant land at the end of the street, where I assume she came from. Whenever I see a lizard I can’t help thinking about my little girl, Thin Lizzy.

Lovely story, Lee. My wife, Sandra, home tutors a 9 year old boy who’s a lizard fan. This is his blue-tongue (“Bluey”). I’ve we’ve looked after him while the boy and his family have gone on holidays and he seems to enjoy wandering around my desk. To help his reading, Sandra encouraged Bob to write a book about looking after blue-tongues. We printed 100 copies and the Nerang library hosted a book launch. Here’s the Bob & Bluey website

Hi Matt, I’d like to buy a high resultion PDF of this image. I’m a major fan of the bluey and this would look great on my study wall. What’s the best way to settle on price and delivery if for sale?
