This vintage car is exquisite. I love cars, especially vintage ones that are restored
and shared by an excellent photographer. I look forward to viewing your gallery
of stunning cars.
Matt Mawson replied
thanks Julie … there are plenty of classic cars in this corner of Australia, some lovingly preserved and others rusting gracefully

This is fantastic! You might like to join Hand drawn or painted vehicles, because this work would look great there.

Karin Taylor
superb…that’s the most glorious red i’ve ever seen apart from the red slippers Judy Garland wore!
Matt Mawson replied
thanks Karin … I’d layered the car over one of my sunset photos.
(Can you spot the trees and power pole from the sunset photo? Hint: If you get tyred of looking, let me know.)
Karin Taylor
aha!!! yes!!! i see…i needed that hint tho! i never would have noticed otherwise :)

WOW what an excellent Image, this is my passion, It looks from your collection that the OUTBACK is littered with old Classics
Matt Mawson replied
thanks Malcolm … I’ve added the car to the scenery, but I took both photos within an hour from where I live. This car was on display with a group of other restored classics. I usually photograph the shiny restored models at gatherings of car enthusiasts. As for the photogenic but rusting wrecks, you’d probably have to drive long distances in the outback before coming across one worth stopping for. Exploring the back roads in farming areas is the way to go. One day I’d like to drive through the backroads of the USA to look for ageing forties and fifties vehicles to photograph.
