A certain group of the DaDa (or DADA?) persuasion has befriended and encouraged me and commented on my work in a most welcome and delightful manner!
I never understood DADA…I guess that is the point!
If one of the “rules” is having “no potential commercial value,” then I qualify. Darned if I know. If having friends say, I like it but I don’t understand it, I qualify! ha ha !
I thought speaking French was a requirement and find my Spanish useless, although it is very useful in California!
Whatever – I have learned more about myself from these web things than I contribute. And make nice friends here!

But it might be of the highest possible interest to realise that the artist who personified, throughout his self-restricted flegmatic output, L’ESPRIT DADA at its best, started to do so before the birth of DADA, and was never himself a member of the Dada-Church…All this to show that DADA today is not dead, it just smells funny…The Great DadA Spirit that was blowing through Marcel-Victor-Rrose Sélavy-Duchamp’s nostrils is still alive when ever an gentleman-artist, or a lady-artist, has the vision to fertilize her/his work, on a regular basis, with a large dose of devotion to the absurdity of all things human.
