gorgeous textures! and cat, of course!
Thank you, Evelyn! Close up and in living color, Snug is her own work of art, but I wanted to do something different.
I get it – that IS the cat’s study, right? Snug brevity:)
“They” learned to open the shutters by themselves, so I guess it is a cats’ study! “Snug brevity” : love it! Snug thanks you; I thank you!
Snug made a nice contrast to the modern angular feel… to my mind, anyway! Of course I am delighted with anything in focus :)Thank you much, Maraia!
…so little time…so many birds…so many mice…so many cat ladies to do my bidding…meow…,“You frisk my whiskers…NOW!!!”…sigh thank the Great Cat for nine lives…,“There are two means of refuge from the misery of life – music and cats.” Albert Schweitzer…and…,“The smallest feline is a masterpiece.” Leonardo da Vinci…cats rule dogs serve…meow meow…applause applause…
Those Great Minds had it right, huh! Cats rule humans just pay the bills…. purrmeowrow be-bob frisk my whiskers!
Lovely kitty and great composition!
Meet Miss Snug. Cole is sitting in the same place now… !Snug is a tortoiseshell cat and is like a mad watercolor of black, yellow, ginger, grey and just a touch of white : she has celadon or light jade eyes. I didn’t do her justice, but I loved the conrast in the setting. Thank you much, Mui-Ling – Snug thanks you!
What’s the cat studying? I don’t know what dog’s lie about when they sleep either
Great line, Karen! Thanks for the giggle and the visit!
I love this – the contrast in the setting, the dynamic angles of the composition and how and where the cat is sitting.
Ah, you see and say it better than I could! Thank you, Elizabeth (the left side reminds me of your geometric shadows, which I love)!

Thank you for the colorful welcome!
Excellent work, Margot. With three of them, I have plenty of opportunity to study, and it is worth every minute.
ha ha, she is my third, too!Very happy you think this “treatment” works … without cats, a house is just a structure.
Just so. A vibrant photo full of stark angles that offset your rounder kitty (where are the other two?), with dramatic contrast. Reflects that Valley of the Moon light and the photographer anarchist.
hee hee … just so! I am always thrilled to get a comment from you on my few photographs! Really pleased that you agree about the contrast. Warm and windy so the light has been amazing on the new Spring growth. :))
