Burnt Offering

Collage : Influenced by Asian screens.

In Asian art, cranes are usually shown in pairs; the loss of a mate is often represented by one crane.

Well Margot, you have inspired me to have a go at a digital collage myself. A Rothko one… to be released in due couse. I have not forgotten ‘our project’ – time will tell. Well done, I like the transparency of your. Charlotte didn’t show me how to do that yet. Mine is symmetrical and boring.

  • mmargot replied

Denis, I work on the buckets, but they are too good alone!

The crane is scanned object, not image. I am too impatient to be taught and make up ways…

I am jealous of all the comments.

  • mmargot replied

    tsk tsk…jealousy is unbecoming!
Anyway, comments do not a good artist make bad translation
    Enjoy!

It prints out rather well on a good stock…not glossy…bit of texture.
