these creep me a bit…you and your junk yard!

  • mmargot replied

There are some bright trees behind the Junkyard fence which I put up so you won’t be creeped.

Yes, that old junkyard comes through with another winner! BTW… I haven’t forgotten about ‘our project’, it’s just that I have so much ‘stuff’ to deal with since I returned home. Going through the Tate shots at the moment.

  • mmargot replied

shhhh, we will pretend it is just an abstract!
Tate is more important than the project…it is still there.

again would not win that much without that patch on the right. you did not do it on purpose, did you?

I like.. but I am the founder of the “horizontal lines” movement !

  • mmargot replied

Shall I add that to the description, Andy? Would you like “Mercer Horizon Movement,” perhaps…please advise.

  • Andy Mercer

    Andy Mercer

In the era of the short attention span it seems appropriate to create a new artistic movement everyday !

“Horizontalism” a theory for people who prefer to spend the majority of their time horizontal.. we fight against our bitter enemies the Verticalists. Whom we blame for all the wrongs of the world, Adam couldn’t even have reached the apple if he had been a horizontalist !

my special compliment to the right-side warm patch against the cold of the rest of it. beautiful!

  • mmargot replied

I will think of you whenever I see that warm patch….

Leading lines … going somewhere .. maybe … but maybe not … converging or diverging … and I hope they had planning permission to go through the warm patch! Lovely work Margot!!

The wonderful thing about the horizon is you can never reach it – no matter how far you go, the horizon is still just ahead of you. :-)

    Superb work

  • mmargot replied

We must keep thinking this way…good words, Helen!
Needed that today… there is always something more.

This is very cool, mmargot – where did you take it?

  • mmargot replied

heh heh…in the Junkyard actually. Part of some appliance, as I recall.

I am now understanding your fascination with junkyards, this is wonderful, soft and strong at the same time, a favorite.
