2008 11” x 14" Colored Pencil
A shakedown run on a secluded high desert test track. No numbers or sponsor decals, just the smell of fresh paint, new leather and spent fuel.
Based on Jim Hall’s Chaparrals that raced in the Can-Am series during the late 60s. Anyone familiar with these cars will see that I made a major mistake on the vents over the rear wheels but I think it’s one of my better landscape drawings.
Done with Blick Studio colored pencils on 100lb smooth Strathmore bristol Board
