realization

i am going to stop taking photos for a while , my equipment is not up to standard
to doing fantastic shots that need to been done i will still comment on every ones
wonderful work .
and still write once in a while
one thing i can say is that i have met a lot of wonderful people the only thing that counts in my life
i may go back to my painting for a while , the only thing i know how to do,

I read this article about equipment where the artists rightfully claims that it’s not the equipment in most cases. True, you need a camera which can be taken of Auto. But most important is patience and try, try, try.
That’s what you have been doing and you so much improved. Don’t stop. Keep trying. Watch others work and try to mimic it.
Remember, climbing a mountain is fun. Once reached the top, you need to find a new mountain. Keep climbing, girl, and enjoy.

yes i have tried but there are limits for people who can’t find a way to climb another mountain , i have patience but it is so thin i just don’t know any more , always want this , but it is hard for me ,i don’t know what to say

the feeling of struggle is the feeling of growing. Overcome this and you have grown a lot. Just keep going. Study other work and try the same

Mel, I agree with Henk on this…in the first place I love your photos..not being happy
with them..just proves you can do better..I don’t understand anything about photography
but I really feel you are so good and should continue to take photos…listen to Henk..
he started somewhere and we both know the wonderful work he does…don’t stop…
    Love, Sally xxoo

your photos are an expression of your love for life….so don’t stop taking or enjoying them. I always find it lovely to peek into someone else’s world, see the things that move them…. I never really consider technical aspects when I see these personal little glimpses…..
I hope you don’t feel sad for long… creativity ebbs and flows, but it is always there for you if you just sit back and let it be. With it comes understanding and I wish for you – joy….

We all do what we need to do, but I disagree. I have looked through your portfolio and it doesn’t reflect bad anything.

dont stop ive got a 7 pixel samsung and few days ago got a 10 mega pixel its all i can afford but i try and your work is amazing as it is, keep posting and when you are able to upgrade do so but i was told its not the camera that takes the photo its the person behind the camera so that makes you a great photographer may not have 1st class equipment but you have the eye for a good shot

get and take your photos, they are great, who will i have to moan at about showing cats, serious tho mel it is not the camera that takes the photo it is the person behind it, and you have a good eye for taking them [meaning you can see the beauty of a scene]
