I began to pursue my interest in photography seriously 7 or 8 years ago as the demands on my time at work and home lessened. I made the transition from film to digital gradually and it has been a challenge—but one I am glad I took on. I find my inspiration largely in nature, both up close and from a distance. I seek to express the beauty and simplicity I see in an attempt to balance the complexity and chaos in the world around us.
