Down the Turnagain Arm
I took this photo during my four-day trip to Alaska in March 2008. It shows the Turnagain Arm, looking toward Anchorage from somewhere between Anchorage and Girdwood. The tide is rushing out, but the mudflats aren’t exposed yet. The gray chunks are ice.
