we have known of solid reasons to reduce pollution, including that which results in carbon emissions, for decades. So, why are we waiting for global warming to be proven? I fear that it won’t be satisfactorily proven, whether it’s true or not, and lack of proof will be focused on as a reason not to worry about pollution. Companies that emit pollution lobby to weaken environmental laws. people drive 8 mpg trucks. solar is effective but is not being developed and promoted for buildings like it should, because energy companies then can’t sell you the power. We need to reduce pollution and use more solar, etc, but are up against powerful industry influence that is intertwined into our governments like a cancer. All the while we,re distracted by waiting for global warming to be proven. like waiting for proof of aliens. We don’t have that kind of time.
