What a wonderful image! In Britain these were known as Milkweeds (Monarchs) and became extinct here in the 1890s. I think they all flew over to your country;-) I have seen one sole example here five years ago, apparently a few were carried to Britain at that time on the tail-end of a hurricane…

Thank you! Most folks here consider the Milkweed plant just a weed…I on the other hand, think the flowers smell wonderful so I began growing them in an area of my garden. So sad you have a world without monarchs.
