You’re right but I kept myself safe. Thanks for the concern BTW. I didn’t leave my vehicle so I wouldn’t consider these shots “perfect” Although the mother “seemed” unconcerned about my being there I wouldn’t take the chance.

Thanks for the comments. It was really quite exciting! Although I could say “Don’t try this at home” In reality I was in the safety of my big, gas guzzling mini van! Of course I was a bit daring hanging out the window. Oh yeah I also waved my hand stopping any traffic behind me. In which case I may have wanted to take my chances with the bears.LOL These bears were on the outskirts of town where apparently the female had spent last year having quite a feast.

i must say if i go down to the woods today i dont want to bump into most off the bears you have takern pics off there very sweet but i worry about who they want to eat ,but i whould love to take them bear cubs home for a week or two nice work

It is comical how these cubs reminded me of my sons! There was one cub who just didn’t want to listen to mother! During a close up shot he had burdocks stuck to his fur and quite outgoing!
Reminded me of my son who just knows how to push my button and enjoys doing it!
I wouldn’t recommend taking these guys home tho…....I don’t believe they are housebroken! LOL

ohhh this is my fav! great job! lol on the son comparision, i believe i have an understanding with it! as i have three sons also!

oooo good thing you were in your car becasue if the mother bear puts the cubs up a tree it means she feels threatened and she becomes defensive… Awesome capture though, stay in the car though.
