And so, with a subtle beauty, he turned the world upside down!

    Very nice.

Every time I read the name ‘Australia’, just about, it reminds me of .. well, how me and a few persons from Australia would wind up all the gits from England, Ireland, Scotland (espcially), and occasionally America by singing songs at each other. Sometimes Iwe’d sing ’ You’re the Top.”, only when I sang it, it’d be “I’m the Top” as in “But, baby if you’re the bottom, I’m the top.” .. very funny to us, as one of them introduced himself to me as a man from the land down under and I asked him how he knew it was down under, and not up above. Long discussion ensued, mathemeatical computations were perused, finally we agreed that it didn’t matter if his country was on top or mine, just so long as we weren’t any of the squidgy boring little countries in between.

I also used to sing them that song by Karen Carpenter, which made good sense, per the above said conversation and geographically, as well. The one, that is, that goes “I’m on top of the world, looking down on creation and the only explanation I can find is the love that I found ever since you’ve been around You’re what put me at the top of the world.” .. or, you know, something like that. Which is, coincidentally, the song that has been running through my head ever since I saw the title of this piece.

I’m so glad that this image and title has prompted those fun memories, not sure about the song as i don’t know it even though i know K Carpenter, and you’ll probably hate me by the end of the day if you can’t get it out of your head. Regards M:>
