I have to laugh at the title…mainly because I’ve been dying to use it myself. It was one of my favourite programmes growing up as a kid….

Again with the drama, love it…the way you’ve captured the trees, they look sentient…:)

This is beautiful! So judging by the tags these are gum trees? Never seen a tree like this. You also have lemon and scent down; do they smell like that too? I know – duh – right?? hehe

Hi Antonie, I’m drawn to pictures with intense colour. I actually have severe colour blindness type red/green blue/yellow but with pictures the colour becomes very intense at times like a 3D image! Your Picture did this to me so that’s why i saw it so quickly!

The trees might be wonderful, but the capture and composition and toning is spectacular. Straight into the favourites list. It seems evocative of figure / nude photography, but for trees. The shapes are just so feminine. Well done!

yeah …..you see …....you have worked it out ….... capturing the essense of things.
to truly do this you have to have patience, and look beyond the object itself. Draw out a connection or relationship with things so that in your imagery you can also see a part of yourself.

It looks like the tree has something kind of life form, I have never seen in any other tree. I did a marvelous job in capturing just what you see. What kind of tree is it? NICE WORK!

Hi Darrell, It’s a Lemon Centred Gum! Actually just one tree. The braches do swing together out of shot! It’s quite tall.

Thanks Dawne, a disappointing element to this is that our local council has lopped one branch of this tree off. It’s interesting that what you see others don’t.
