Contrast is amazing. The contract in color as well as the coldness of the architecture against the warmth and deep thinking of that man. This is going straight to my favs.

This is brillinat Michael.. or perfects I should say perfect! Simple in its elegance, this has all the elemnts that you need.. fantastic lines, excellent contrasts and human interest in the figure.. I love how he and the column are silhouetted.. yet the wall and column to the right retain their stark white brilliance! A definate favourite!

As others have said, a fabulous image! The interplay of black and white elements is just terrific. The black object (column?) next to the man seems so ominous it almost makes you catch your breath.
