Sticks and Stones I
Morton Arboretum in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.
Upon first glance, one may only notice nature at work in this image. However upon closer observation it may also be noticed that the human hand has also been active in this seemingly natural setting.
Only one has asked, “Who has whittle those sticks?”
Sticks and Stones I belongs to the following groups:
1 In The Beginning - Ancient Practices, Abstract Art, As Is, Corporate Art/Themes, Human and Nature, Textures and Materials and United StatesAvailable for sale as Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints

I like this Makeba…the big rocks, little stones, big stick, twigs shapes and textures…life reflected on the ground…hard dry but resilient and strong.
My son flies from Oz to Chicago periodically for training with his job – he’ll be there again next month.

Peace Estelle, thanks. I was there recently on a field trip with my daughter and as always, for such a small place, it packs a lot of beauty! peace…

Peace Estelle,
I only just realized you were speaking of your son and Chicago (a big place with a strong punch!), and not the Arboretum! lol! I guess he’ll be in Chi-town soon. I hope he has a good trip! peace…
