My design of the first page of artwork for my website . Some said it’s poor and messy, others cool and elegant. How hilariouis. ;)

    a few notes: the background is Baby No.80, and the layout was actually inspired by an old Dwell magazine on my bookshelf. At the early stage I had the idea of updating my website by replacing the background image with my works, just to keep things fresh and showcasing each work in a larger scale as well.

    I love it – it breaks convention… the colour scheme and typography are very sympathetic to your artwork. Great design!

    Thanks guys, i’m just an amateur in webdesigning. Frontpage is what I used to make my website, but it helps to build a decent one, which is as plain and simple as a flyer! :] Of course it’s all about trial and errors (font, palette, proportion, contents, html, javascripts, etc.) for a beginner, thanks God it’s finished and some of you actually like it and have a few words to say about it.
